Head of Medical Affairs Rare Diseases and Neurology (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Leadership, coaching and mentorship of the direct and indirect medical leads for the respective TA. Motivating, agile, inclusive and cross-functional leadership style
  • Be responsible for the assigned annual operating expenses
  • Overall responsibility for the development, prioritization, and delivery of the Medical Affairs Plans (MAP) that address identified gaps and in alignment with asset plans
  • Collaboration with R&D team and Access to support the country portfolio of Phase II-III trials, local clinical trials evaluations including RWE, collaborations and partnerships and investigator-initiated studies
  • Ensure appropriate focus, timely preparation, review, and submission of publications at scientific congresses
  • Ensure adherence by the team to regulatory and compliance policies and procedure within the therapeutic area and Medical Affairs

Ihre Qualifikation

  • University degree in medical, pharmacy or natural sciences
  • 5 years of leadership experience (senior roles) in medical affairs, ideally in rare and/or neurological diseases
  • Experience of leading teams and driving change with cross functional and matrix teams
  • Proven track record of partnering with marketing, sales, access, patient engagement towards cross-functional plans and delivery on objectives
  • Fluency in English and German
